Metalloinvest is actively developing industrial tourism at its enterprises. The first tourism project was launched back in September 2021 at the A.V. Varichev Mikhailovsky Mining and Processing Plant in the Kursk Region. During this time, about 3 thousand people visited the quarry and production sites of the enterprise. Currently, tourists are offered three routes, the central object of which is the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly - the world's largest iron ore deposit. In February this year, Metalloinvest has already launched industrial tourism at the A.A. Ugarov Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant (Belgorod Region). So far, three exciting routes have been developed for both adults and young guests of the plant. OEMK is the only full-cycle metallurgical plant in Russia, where the technology of direct reduction of iron and smelting in electric furnaces is implemented. There are plans to launch industrial tourism at Lebedinsky GOK as well.
