TOURASSIST

The “Tourassistance” is an outbound tour operators.The main task of the Association is providing an urgent aid to the Russian tourists abroad in emergency. Since 2017 the Association is authorized to build up outbound tour operators' personal funds which in effect are reserves for emergency cases. In 2014 the Association effectively accomplished the evacuation of almost 60,000 Russian tourists from abroad when quite a number of top tour operators went bankrupt. The "Tourassistance" cooperates under current agreements with the All Russian Insurance Union, the National association of tourist information organizations. The Association acta as a mediator between the tourism&travel business and the government bodies. An effective interaction has been established with the Federal Agency for Tourism, Foreign ministry and its consular service, Economic ministry, Emergency ministry.
